Hogwarts Legacy

is an immersive, single-player open-world action role-playing game (RPG) set in the Harry Potter universe during the 1800s. Players create their own character, attend Hogwarts as a fifth-year student, and explore various familiar and new locations. The game was developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games under the Portkey Games label. 

• Customizing a character: You can create a new witch or wizard and choose their appearance. If you have a Wizarding World website account, you can also link it to import your chosen house and wand.
• Exploring an open world: Freely roam Hogwarts Castle, the village of Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and other surrounding areas.
• Mastering magic: Attend classes, learn and upgrade spells, brew potions, grow magical plants, and tend to magical beasts.
• Building skills: Gain experience through completing challenges and quests to unlock new talents that improve your skills in combat, stealth, and potion-making.
• Following an original story: As a student with a unique ability to harness ancient magic, you uncover a hidden truth that threatens the wizarding world. Your choices will determine the fate of the world.
• Experiencing combat: Create your own dueling style by combining spells against a variety of foes, including dark wizards, goblins, and trolls.
• Customizing the Room of Requirement: The Room serves as a base where you can craft equipment upgrades, brew potions, and care for magical creatures in its vivariums.
